The English language seems particularly well suited for short phrases containing non sequiturs, paraprosdokians*, and malaproprisms that lead to amusing or thought-provoking results. Here I present some of my favorites.
* A figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected.
